It’s a compact kit that can easily fit your vehicle’s glove box or the trunk. When a crisis strikes, whether it’s a natural disaster, medical situation, social or civil unrest, or car breakdown, this kit will help you negotiate immediate challenges until you can get to safety.
The kit is packed with emergency essentials, including hydration, first-aid, emergency blanket, and more. These kits are crucial when stranded on the side of the road, so we suggest keeping at least one in each car. Parents may also include an EDC emergency kit in a child’s backpack on extended field trips or family outings for added peace of mind.
When you receive your kit or kits, we recommend adding an emergency supply of necessary medication. Prepare an emergency supply only if the medication can withstand extreme temperatures, high or low, since they’ll likely be stored in a car for long periods.
If the carrier uses prescription glasses, include a spare pair stored in a hard-shelled case.

The exact dimensions vary depending on the supplier we use. Since it has to fit in a glove box, the GBU can be used as a supplementary kit in a backpack.
No, batteries and fuel canisters aren’t included in our kits. It may be some time before you need any of the battery-powered items in your kit, and old batteries and canisters can degrade or leak when not in use. Add a sealed package of the necessary batteries and new canisters so you have them when you need them.
The GBU has a compact loadout of standard emergency supplies, but you should add any personal necessities that you may need in emergencies. A spare pair of glasses, prescription medication, and copies of important documents are common examples of these.
