Is this a good survival kit for beginners and experienced preppers?

This is a comprehensive loadout with tools to help you get through emergencies. The shelters and bivvies we include are quick and easy to set up, and many supplies included in our packs are more rugged versions of everyday items made for outdoor survival. Depending on your familiarity with camping gear, you may need to review any instruction manuals for tools you aren’t sure how to use.

How much food should a two-man survival team have?

Ideally, you’d want enough food to last you the number of days you intend to spend in the wilderness. However, humans can go quite a long time without food (especially in a temperate, mild climate), so food shouldn’t take priority over water and first aid. A few MREs for a few days, and other dry foods should last you a few days.
